Professional insurance designations give you the knowledge you can apply in your day-to-day interaction with clients, and these designations complement your core understanding of risks, exposures and coverages. Designations also signify a higher level of experience and knowledge of the industry, as well as a commitment to continued growth in your industry expertise. Our Education Committee is committed to promoting the insurance industry professional education opportunities through its scholarship program and is proud to sponsor the RT Specialty & the Tom Mraz Professional Scholarship.

RT Specialty & Tom Mraz Professional Scholarships

This scholarship is only available to IIAH members. It may be used towards any ongoing education commitment for any insurance professional designation program. This scholarship is awarded in the amount of $1500. Restrictions apply.

I have read the Terms & Conditions *Applicant acknowledges that they will complete all requirements of the designation. Applicant agrees to adhere to all courses, exams, and time limits as required by ARM, CIC, CPCU, CRM, RPLU, or any other professional insurance program as approved by the scholarship committee. Applicant acknowledges they will be responsible for the cost of tuition should the applicate fail an examination the scholarship has previously paid. The recipient must pass the exam to receive scholarship funding for the next course/institute part. Applicant acknowledges that they have not received any other Scholarship for the designation chosen. The awarding of this scholarship is conditional based on the following: The applicant will pursue at least one educational class towards the designation they have chosen at a minimum per year and complete it successfully. The program selected must be attained within a five-year time frame. Failure to meet either of these minimum requirements, the applicant agrees, will cause the scholarship to be forfeited. All remaining funds designated for this purpose will become the property of the nonprofit Scholarship Fund administered by the IIAH Education/IT Committee. They may use them for other purposes.
