Location: CAP Houston Shelter

No experience needed, just a love for dogs and a desire to help. Wear comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A FUR-EVER FRIEND? 

We have two generous sponsors that will cover the adoption fee for any volunteer looking to adopt a fur ever friend after the project. If you're interested in adopting and want to be entered to win please contact me directly (ayla@iiah.org) and we will do the drawing at the beginning of our shift for two lucky volunteers to take home one cat & one dog. 

Please fill out the waiver form. All participants are required to submit their form prior to the event. Participants can email them to volunteer@cap4pets.org or bring them in on the day of our project. Please note the dress code below:

• No shorts.
• No open toe/open back shoes.
• Pants must not be ripped (paws will get tangled).
• No sleeveless or crop tops. Feel free to wear your group shirt if you have one, if not we can provide our group aprons. 
• All belongings such as purses and backpacks must be left in vehicles as we cannot hold them for participants. 

Any participant outside of dress code will not be able to walk dogs.   

The coordinator will go over the policies/rules for dog walking at 9am, so please make sure to arrive on time. Anyone arriving after instructions are given will not be able to walk dogs. We look forward to having you participate and thank you for helping us in our mission to give back to local Houston charity organizations.
