Employed Lawyers
Does your client have a General Counsel?

If you don’t have Employed Lawyers coverage you have a gap in the clients protection.  In recent years, third-party litigation against attorneys is on the rise. Further, in-house attorneys in particular face increased liability exposure based on the broad range of domestic and international legal services they perform. Employed lawyers professional liability coverage helps protect in-house attorneys when allegations of malpractice are made. However, employed lawyers’ endorsements to directors & officers (D&O) policies are often limited in scope compared to standalone employed lawyers policies. This course presents a fascinating look into a growing segment of the marketplace where exposures are evolving constantly.  More Information

Miscellaneous Professional Liability
Filling the gap

Miscellaneous Professional Liability fills the gap for a large number of business operations. GL policies cover damages arising from Bodily Injury or Property Damage, when there is no BI or PD – there is no GL coverage. Firms providing professional services can make mistakes or experience misunderstandings and communication failures with clients. They may be subject to allegations including the failure to provide a service in a timely fashion, or committing an error in the service performed. This course will outline the exposures professional service firms may experience and review typical elements of miscellaneous professional liability insurance policies. This course will go through the coverage concepts of MPL, as well as Multiple Case Studies using the claims examples to see coverage (or lack thereof) in action.

Course is approved for 3.0 CE Hours General All Lines
