The statewide Political Action Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston, alongside the Political Action Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas have launched this year's IMPACT campaign. The money you contribute is a direct demonstration of support for both local legislators, as well as statewide office holders. Your contribution is tangible evidence of our clout and solidarity as an industry in the support of legislative endeavors which protect and improve our business environment.
Through our Legislative Committee and Executive Trustees, IIAH assists in coordinating contributions to local legislators. Along with IMPACT staff, we discuss local candidates, officeholders, and upcoming legislation which affects you and your cilents. With your support, you will have a voice in Austin on issues which directly affect your clients, your employees, and your business.
As the cost of modern political campaigns rise, your contribution's importance grows. The political action process depends on you, your staff, and our local association to provide the access and the clout to support the candidates who support the insurance agents and consumers of Texas. While the challenges of the next session are still on the horizon, the need to support the process cannot wait.
